About Me

I’m a UX/UI designer focused on crafting thoughtful, human-centred digital experiences. My work is grounded in research, cultural awareness, and a strong understanding of interaction systems.

Opening Belief

I see digital design as an iterative practice rather than a fixed formula. It’s a process of testing, refining, questioning, and adjusting, not falling in love with the first solution that looks good. Good design, to me, isn’t about personal preference; it’s about clarity, context, and whether something genuinely works for the people using it.

How I Work

Design is subjective, but decisions shouldn’t be arbitrary. Every layout choice, interaction, and visual element needs to be grounded in reasoning, whether that comes from user research, testing, behavioural patterns, or established mental models.

There isn’t one rigid structure for designing well. There’s a flow; understanding the problem, exploring possibilities, validating ideas, but within that, flexibility matters. The goal isn’t to follow a strict formula. It’s to respond thoughtfully to context.

Accessibility & Reality

I believe design should strive to be accessible for as many users as possible. Accessibility isn’t a checklist; it’s an ongoing effort. No design is ever completely accessible or perfect. There will always be room to improve, refine, and adapt. Acknowledging that limitation is part of designing responsibly.

Systems Thinking

Every interface exists within a set of expectations. Users approach digital products with pre-existing mental models shaped by other tools and experiences. Good design respects those patterns rather than forcing users to relearn behaviour unnecessarily.

This is why I’m drawn to systems-oriented thinking. Interfaces shouldn’t exist as isolated screens — they should function as cohesive ecosystems. Design systems, scalable components, and predictable interaction patterns create stability while allowing thoughtful innovation.

Where I’m At

I’m early in my professional UX journey, but I bring a structured mindset, comfort with critique, a willingness to question my own work, and a commitment to continuous iteration. My academic and collaborative work has shaped the way I approach design — pragmatically, reflectively, and without attachment to ego.

Design isn’t about being right. It’s about getting closer to what works.
